4 medium sized sweet potatoes
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon sea salt


Preheat oven to 400F.
Line a large baking sheet with paper or foil paper and set aside.
Wash the sweet potatoes and dry them well. Poke several holes in each potato with a fork – usually 8 is good.
Drizzle sweet potatoes with olive oil and sprinkle with salt.
Rub the olive oil and salt gently into the skin of the sweet potato so that the entire potato is covered.
Place the sweet potatoes on the prepared baking sheet.
and bake for 45 minutes or until the potatoes are easily pierced with a fork or knife.
Let cool for five minutes before opening and topping with your favorite toppings. And serve the potatoes.

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F.  And line a large baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  1. Scrub the sweet potato well under running water. Since dirt cannot last long. Once the potatoes are clean, pat them dry with a paper towel or clean kitchen towel.
  1. Pierce the sweet potato with a fork or sharp knife about 6 times. This will allow steam to escape from the potatoes while baking.
  1. Place your cleaned sweet potatoes on the prepared baking sheet. Place it in the oven and cook them for 45-60 minutes depending on the size of your sweet potatoes.
  2. You’ll know your sweet potatoes are done when they’re tender enough to pierce with a fork. Also, if the natural sugars from the sweet potatoes begin to bubble, this is another sure sign that your potatoes are fully baked.
  1. Remove the potatoes from the oven and let them cool a bit so that you can handle them easily. Enjoy them warm and get creative with your toppings.
  2. Now, keep it classic with avocado, sour cream, roasted bell peppers, beans, cooked shrimp, cilantro, or a little butter and salt.
